Who We Are
The faculty at The Perfect 5th Musical Arts Center is a collective group of musicians and artists, co-led by Justin Clauser and Molly Shortridge. The Perfect 5th has been in operation nearly 5 years, but recently the business model has been reorganized so that teachers have a collective voice in the creation and implementation of music programs. All teachers design and develop their own businesses under the Perfect 5th heading, yet collaborate in ways that develop unique classes and programs. Our teachers have high levels of musicianship, artistry, passion, and integrity. We continually strive to encourage, nurture, and teach students of all ages and abilities, adapting lessons to individual needs. We hope to enhance lives with the joy of learning an art that lasts a lifetime. We also encourage our students to become members of the community who contribute their personal art and talent to others in ways that are meaningful and promote goodwill.
We offer lessons, workshops and classes in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Native American Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, English Horn, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, Viola, Violin, and Cello.
We strive to offer all genres of music instruction, including but not limited to Classical, Broadway, Jazz, Rock, World Music, Celtic, and Folk.
We are currently in transition and developing new and unusual arts programs. We are also looking for more teachers, possibly who may even specialize in arts other than music. We have a facility that will be expanded as we grow. We have soundproofed studios, classrooms, waiting rooms, and a performance garage, which is complete with lights, stage, and sound.
We are creative teachers who unite, care, inspire and encourage. You can expect quality music instruction at the Perfect 5th Musical Arts Center.
