Tracy Wieseman's Summary

Tracy enjoys working with students of all ages and experience levels. She grew up in the Harrisburg area and began playing the piano at the age of 4. She has been involved in various musical activities her entire life including the top vocal and instrumental ensembles throughout her high school career at Cedar Cliff High School.

Tracy graduated from West Chester University in 2001 with a B.S. in Music Education (Voice Major, Piano Minor) and was honored to be involved in the top vocal and instrumental groups there. She has taken several continuing education classes at Villanova University. Tracy has 7 years of public school teaching experience at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels and has taught in the Allentown, State College, and Harrisburg areas. Tracy began teaching privately from her home after the birth of her son in 2007.

In addition to piano and voice, Tracy plays the clarinet and mallet instruments. She has experience arranging and teaching indoor drumline and has also been an assistant marching band director and pit instructor at various high schools. Tracy has a passion for music theater and for accompanying, and has accompanied for many high school and professional performances in Pennsylvania. She was the co-director for "Pirates of Penzanace" at Penns Valley Area High School in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania and has been a vocal coach for many other musicals. She has been the accompanist for many local musicals and festivals.

Tracy has performed in the prestigious Bethlehem Bach Choir, the West Chester University Alumnae Concert Choir, and the Cedar Cliff Chamber Singers Alumnae Choir. Tracy's most memorable choral experience was being chosen to be a soloist for the West Chester University Alumnae Concert Choir's tour in Italy. Tracy lives in Mechanicsburg with her son Nathan and her husband Matthew, who is a high school band director. Tracy continues to perform in church and in the Harrisburg area.
