Daniel Hagenbuch is a violinist, composer, and pianist from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Daniel currently studies music composition and violin at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois. After graduation, Daniel plans to study at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and will earn his Master of Music Composition degree. Daniel's compositions have been performed by members of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has also composed music for film; he scored scenes from the 2023 short film Polite Wolf and he has composed incidental music for theater including Wheaton College's 2021 Arena Theater Fall Play: My Name is Asher Lev. Daniel's composition teachers include Shawn Okpebholo, Sky Macklay, Xavier Beteta, and Avner Dorman. As a violinist, Daniel has performed with the Hershey Symphony, Harrisburg Youth Symphony, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra.

Daniel looks forward to getting to know new students and helping them achieve their goals! He is passionate about teaching and believes that we are always learning from one another.
