Kathy Woodbridge is a violinist in Harrisburg and the surrounding area. She is a member of the York Symphony Orchestra and the Allegro String Quartet. She also performs regularly with a number of local orchestras and ensembles such as the Dickinson College Community Orchestra and the Central Penn Symphony. Originally from Lancaster, she was a member of the Lancaster Symphony and the Hershey Symphony. She counts her studies with Zoe Cummings and John Eaken as her greatest influences. She also completed training with the Suzuki Association.
Kathy enjoys teaching violin and beginner viola lessons, having over 30 years of experience. Her students range in age from 6 to adult. She has students active in the Dauphin County elementary, junior high, and high school orchestras; the Harrisburg Junior Youth and Youth Symphony Orchestras; District and Regional Orchestras; and York Youth Orchestra. She likes to learn about her students’ goals and looks forward to helping them achieve those goals.
