Pamela Heller is a seasoned professional floral designer with over 35 years of experience. She began in the 1980’s working in a small shop in her hometown of Dillsburg, learning the business from the ground up, including customer service, design, and operations of the business, eventually becoming manager. Pamela furthered her experience by working at a large flower shop where production and efficiency were much more the focus, while fine tuning her design skills. This experience would serve her well in the future although she preferred the more personal atmosphere of a small shop. In 1991 at age 22, Pamela and her husband opened their own floral shop, Pamela’s Flowers in Enola, PA. They operated the shop for 29 years until 2020. Pamela developed a very large and loyal base of satisfied customers and professional relationships. She consulted, designed, and delivered over 2,000 weddings during that time as well as designing untold thousands of arrangements for all types of floral occasions. Pamela loved taking the ideas of customers and making them a reality through her artistic interpretations with careful attention to quality.
Pamela participated in seminars and floral industry shows, working alongside world class designers. She has also been a guest speaker for many civic and garden clubs. Having sold her business in 2020, Pamela now wishes to pass along her knowledge and experience to those who desire to learn floral design, whether for recreational or professional purposes. She has trained many students and employees who have excelled in the in the floral industry.
In addition to floral design, Pamela enjoys working with stained glass, macrame, embroidery and quilling, which she sells on her website and at craft shows.
